  1. Edit File Info+ is a "droplet" for use with UserLand's Frontier. A droplet is a
  2. hybrid, half application and half script.

  4. What does it do?
  5. ----------------

  7. Edit File Info+ is an "enhanced" version of the Edit File Info droplet which
  8. currently ships with Frontier.
  9.  
  10. Edit File Info+ provides a quick and easy way to change a file's (multiple files,
  11. folders and volumes too) type, creator and Finder flags information.
  12.  
  13. When one or more files are dropped on Edit File Info+, a simple dialog box will
  14. let you edit/view each file's information, as follows:

  16.     * Name                            [Edit]
  17.     * Location                        [View]
  18.     * Size                            [View]
  19.     * Version                        [View]
  20.     * Type                            [Edit]
  21.     * Creator                        [Edit]
  22.     * Creation Date & Time            [Edit]
  23.     * Modification Date & Time        [Edit]
  24.     * isLocked Flag                    [Edit]
  25.     * isVisible Flag                [Edit]
  26.     * hasBundle Flag                [Edit]
  27.     * isBusy Flag                    [View]
  28.     * isFolder Flag                    [View]

  31. How to Use

  34.     1. Select a file in the Finder.
  35.  
  36.     2. Drag it onto the Edit File Info+ droplet icon and release the mouse.
  37.  
  38.     3. When the droplet dialog appears, edit the file information as you
  39.        please.
  40.  
  41.     4. When done, click "OK" to save changes or "Cancel" to leave the file
  42.        untouched.
